Abstract
The theoretical analysis of galloping phenomena
has been developed, including its design criteria
of compensation circuit of galloping in
linear and non-linear range. A galloping control
system with eccentric weights was developed.
This method has been observed on field test
lines and applied on actual lines. An effect to
control conductor galloping has been acknowledged.
Moreover, studies and the field test on the galloping
control system to 10-bundle conductor for UHV
transmission line is under way.
