These lines are equipped with A. C. S. R. conductors an_d earth wires. Damage has occurred at short-type suspension clamps with armour rods, at longtype suspension clamps, al vibration damper attachments, and at earth wire attachments. Breakage of more than half the total number of the aluminium strands entering into the conductors has been observed in .~nme cases.
