The quarantine we are experiencing because of covid 19 has forced people from many parts of the globe to lead unexpected lives. Nowadays, quarantine has become a major public health intervention and is being used repeatedly whenever new emerging infectious diseases threaten to spread across the entire population. The consequence of implementing early and prolonged quarantine during this pandemic can be measured as lost productivity. This literature aimed to determine whether information about the effects of quarantine could change an individual's concern about covid 19. It investigated the associations between long period of quarantine and the problems created by it. The study provides an overview of the observed and the possible effects that may show up in the coming days.
