CENTRAL ASIAN JOURNAL OF MEDICAL AND NATURAL SCIENCE, 4 (3): 1181-1185 (June 2023)

Abstract

Neuroimaging, a technique that allows seeing the structure, function and characterization of biochemical, biomechanical changes of the brain, has entered modern medicine, being now a separate section. The use of CT, MSCT and MRI in patients with spinal neurological dysfunctions has become traditional. In addition, the choice of diagnostic methods is different, as while CT scanning provides an opportunity to determine the local extent of compression in the spinal cord and the adjacent subdural spaces, MSCT is more comprehensive and accurately describes deep problems of the spinal cord disorders.
