It is to be considered as a tool to prove the product quality versus the submitted reports from international standards. The proposed tests are not selected to discriminate against any particular material or manufacturer but rather to consider well accepted and recently developed test philosophies, in order to safeguard the quality of the supplied insulators, in particular for bulk volume contracts.
