The macro uses the CALL RANUNI 2 function and PROC PLAN 3 to generate such lists. It prompts the user for a set of parameters that define the trialÆs randomization scheme specifications and another set of parameters that control the macro execution. The design of this macro along with sample output generated for a hypothetical randomized clinical trial will be presented. The macro was developed using SAS Proprietary Software Release 8.2 (TS2M0) running on ALPHASERVER Model 1200 5/533 4MB Serial Number 80000000 and executed on the OpenVMS 7.3-1 platform, using eXcursion Server.
