Abstract
This paper reviews some of the current advances in the field of cooperative
robotic systems. We list and describe the current research topics
such as: task planning and control, object transport and manipulation,
motion coordination, obstacles and singularities avoidance, among
others minor applications. We also discuss the current state of research
in these areas as well as its main applications e.g. large-objects
transferring/manipulation, load sharing, assembly tasks, parts mating,
polishing works and welding tasks. At the end of the paper, we list
open problems in cooperative robotic systems and include an up-to-date
literature survey
