Thi s r eview paper presents a comprehensive study of Genetic Algorithm (GA) based Intrusion Detection System (IDS). It provides a brief overview of rule - based IDS elaborates the implementation issues of Genetic Algorithm and also presents a comparative analys is of existing studies
