The results were obtained independently of visual observations of the bolide but confirm the reported time of occurrence. The ability to distinguish between a moving and static source is crucial for the application of infrasound as a monitoring technique. This study also illustrates the dependence of the infrasound technique on signal coherency, inter-array distance and atmospheric knowledge.
