Abstract
The article discusses the conspiracy theories during the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks in the U.S. Rumors are circulating that the American government knew of the attacks in advance. Moreover, the article argue that as much as post-9/11 conspiracy theories seem like last ditch paranoid fantasies of the conservative faith individualism, they also end narrative strategies precisely the kind of decentered portrait of global power they fear.
