RADIO INTERFERENCE PRODUCED BY INSULATOR STRINGS LIMIT VALUES AND STRING DESIGN

Abstract

Based on the interference level produced by corona on the conductors, it is possible to define a maximum admissible interference level for insulator strings , according to the interference coordination principle . In this report, it is suggested to apply this principle to design insulator strings for various types of lines, with voltages of 400, 500 and 800 kV. The calculation of the interference level(CISPR definition) of these lines is carried out by the ANALIG method developed at ELECTRICITE DE FRANCE.
