CENTRAL ASIAN JOURNAL OF MEDICAL AND NATURAL SCIENCE, 4 (6): 1481-1488 (December 2023)

Abstract

Hip dysplasia encompasses a diverse range of developmental irregularities affecting the hip joint, varying in severity. Diagnosis relies on clinical manifestations observed during a physical examination. Newborns with hip dislocation commonly exhibit hip joint instability upon palpation, uneven lower extremity lengths, and asymmetry in thigh skin folds. Older children may display gait abnormalities and restricted hip abduction.
