WIKINDX is a free bibliographic and quotations/notes management and article authoring system designed either for single use (on a variety of operating sytems) or multi-user collaborative use across the internet.
This is the website of COST Action IC0703 "Data Traffic Monitoring and Analysis (TMA): theory, techniques, tools and applications for the future networks" which started on March 2008.
TIE is a project for application identification through network traffic analysis (aka Traffic Classification, Traffic Identification, etc.). We aim at building a common platform for the study and the development of traffic classification techniques by fostering collaboration among researchers and practitioners. TIE offers an open-source platform working as a multiple classifier system able to combine multiple classification techniques (implemented as separate plugins) and adopting different strategies of decision combination.
Graph mining refers to extracting knowledge from massive graphs. The data sets of telephone calls we see at AT&T can be viewed as a single graph, with several hundred million phone numbers as nodes, and calls between phone numbers as edges. It is a giant social network, like an internet connections graph or a rich citation network.
The Rapide™ Language effort focuses on developing a new technology for building large-scale, distributed multi-language systems. This technology is based upon a new generation of computer languages, called Executable Architecture Definition Languages (EADLs), and an innovative toolset supporting the use of EADLs in evolutionary development and rigorous analysis of large-scale systems.
Sion is a frontend to easily manage connections to remote filesystems using GIO/GVFS. It allows you to quickly connect/mount a remote filesystem and manage bookmarks of such. It is part of the Xfce Goodies project and the Subversion respository is hosted on the Xfce servers though it doesn't have any hard Xfce dependencies and can be used on other desktop environments as well. The only hard dependency is GTK2 (2.12 or newer). GVFS is an userspace virtual filesystem and the successor of gnome-vfs but doesn't depend on Gnome itself. It only requires a recent GLib version and a properly setup DBus system. Then it provides almost transparent access to remote resources like FTP or SFTP (SSH) connections, SMB (windows shares) or special resources like the Trash (trash://), Burn (burn://) or even accessing your digital photo camera (gphoto2://). Sion itself provides a frontend to manage connections to those resources, to create bookmarks and automatically connecting to bookmarks
ReSP is an MPSoC simulation platform working at a high abstraction level; components used by ReSP are based on SystemC and TLM hardware and communication description libraries. ReSP provides a non-intrusive framework to manipulate SystemC and TLM objects. The simulation platform is built using Python programming language; its reflective capabilities augment the platform with the possibility of observing the internal structure of the SystemC component models. This feature enables run-time composition and dynamic management of the architecture under analysis. The full potentialities offered by the integration among Python and SystemC are exploited, during simulation, to query, examine and, possibly, modify the internal status of the hardware models. These capabilities simplify the debugging process for both the modeled hardware architecture and the software running on it.
Data Engineering deals with the use of engineering techniques and methodologies in the design, development and assessment of information systems for different computing platforms and application environments. The 24th IEEE International Conference on Data Engineering will continue in its tradition of being a premier forum for presentation of research results and advanced data-intensive applications and discussion of issues on data and knowledge engineering. The mission of the conference is to share research solutions to problems of today's information society and to identify new issues and directions for future research and development work.
Welcome to the BELNET public FTP cluster ftp.belnet.be ! This archive is provided through a cluster of 12 dual processor, dual core Intel Xeon 3 GHz machines, each having 4 GB of RAM. The 16 TB FTP archive is taken from an iSCSI SATA SAN. This cluster is located in Brussels, Belgium and operated by BELNET, the Belgian Education and Research Network. If you have any problem, question or mirror request, please send them to ftpmaint@belnet.be This archive is also available through the following means: RSYNC rsync://rsync.belnet.be (IPv4) HTTP http://ftp.belnet.be (IPv4 + IPv6) FTP ftp://ftp.belnet.be (IPv4 + IPv6)
XmdvTool is a public-domain software package for the interactive visual exploration of multivariate data sets. It is available on all major UNIX/LINUX/MAC and Window platforms. XmdvTool is developed based on OpenGL and Tcl/Tk. It supports five methods for displaying flat form data and hierarchically clustered data: 1. Scatterplots 2. Star Glyphs 3. Parallel Coordinates 4. Dimensional Stacking 5. Pixel-oriented Display
