I review the observational evidence for dark energy, arguing that
the large-scale structure observed at low redshift and in the cosmic
microwave background offers a strong corroboration of the supernova
Ia results. The angular scale of the acoustic oscillations in the
cosmic microwave background strongly support a nearly flat universe,
while many arguments from low-redshift cosmology support a matter
density around 25\% of the critical density. The observational constraints
on the cosmological model have improved dramatically over the past
decade. The coming decade will likely bring another two to three
orders of magnitude in improvements in the data sets used for the
study of dark energy.
