It goes without saying that these regional mechanisms constitute the highest and strongest protection of human rights insofar as they involve jurisdictional institutions under the provisions of regional instruments. It is therefore necessary to analyze the legal differences that can be observed from one regional system to another in order to evaluate the quality of the protection guaranteed in each.
