Electromechanical tests on complete strings, more strict acceptance ratios for tests on individual discs, a test criterion to ensure less than 0.37 ?b failure rate and use of higher strength discs to compensate for strength reduction when used as complete strings, are some of the improvement measures presently llllder consideration for Indian systems.
