Zusammenfassung
The CIGRE has just published a booklet,
devoted to the question of the calculation, measurement
and effects of electric and magnetic fields
produced by transmission systems. WG 36.01, by
whom the Guide was prepared, wishes to take the
opportunity of presenting it to this Symposium.
The six chapters of the guide set out the
common view, on the problems posed by the existence
of electric fields, of expert contributors from
nine nations.
The first and last chapters (1 : Introduction
; 6 : Effects of fields and currents) set out
the general aspects of the matter. The intermediate
chapters (2 to 5) are strictly technical in nature.
These latter cover the physical concepts and the
mathematical methods needed to calculate the fields
and assess their effects. Substantial numerical
data are included.
The non-specialist reader, seeking information
about the problems and the ways in which they
are being tackled, may well find all that he needs
in chapters 1 and 6. In any case, the authors
recommend a preliminary study of these chapters to
those who will read the intermediate ones in search
of detailed information.
Electric Fields, Induced currents, Magnetic Fields,
Power Frequency.
