The report points out the connection between temperature, wind-velocity, loadcurrent and bolt-torque of transmission line-clamps. Measuring method was the infrared thermography which allows the examination of parts of electric high-voltage circuits during operation, without touching them. The following interpretation of the measurements is given with respect to the influence of heat-reflection. aerodynamics, choice of reference temperature for computing etc. These influences and the necessary corrections give the accuracy limit of the applied method.
