The incidence of CP was 1.9\% in twin: 12.7 times as high as that in singletons (0.15\%), and was particularly high in monozygotic twins. Since circulatory changes specific for twin pregnancies may cause brain damage, careful obstetric management is recommended for monozygotic twins.
