Аннотация
A retrospective, historical and pedagogical aspect of the problem under study is presented; The views of modern scientists on the essence of the concept of "professional education" are analyzed; the features of studying the problem in connection with the educational process of a sports and pedagogical university (faculty) are considered, the pedagogical conditions of professional education are presented, including the value bases, main ideas, important features, patterns and principles. In the model of professional education of future teachers of physical culture, the essence of pedagogical technologies in teaching students is considered and the possibilities of the sciences of the pedagogical cycle in providing professional education for students of physical culture institutions are revealed.
