Statt in einer Debatte Partei zu ergreifen, die das „Internet“ als fixes, kohärentes Medium begreift, wäre es besser, sehr viel weiter zu gehen und das „Internet“ als eine Ideologie zu begreifen, die die Debatten über Wirtschaftspolitik zu entpolitisieren versucht.

Prism und Tempora – und was es sonst noch in dieser Richtung in China, Russland oder sonst wo (Deutschland?) geben möge –, brauchen uns und unsere Datenspuren nur, um so Normalstrukturen des Webverkehrs und des digitalen Alltags kartieren zu können. Wir geben das Grundraster vor, in dem die Abweichungen auffällig werden.
