Wie können Tourismus-Organisationen Twitter verwenden? Twitter dient der persönlichen Kommunikation, nicht dem Broadcasting. Gelingt es, ein Netzwerk aufzubauen, macht dieses das Marketing, nicht die Tourismus-Organisation. Gut gefällt mir die Idee, dass eine Reihe von Leuten an einer Destination twittern, so dass Fragen immer gleich von der kompetentesten Person beantwortet werden können.

Dan Zarrella über seine Forschungen zum Retweeten. Ich bin auf das Thema selbst eher zufällig gestoßen. Ich frage mich: Gibt es eine sinnvolle Beziehung zwischen diesen v.a. statistischen Untersuchungen (mit einer Marketing-Perspektive) und einem qualitativen, "mikrosoziologischen" Approach?
Wer schon einmal by facebook unfriended wurde, weil er seine tweets dorthin umgeleitet hat, weiss, wovon Mercedes Bunz spricht. Der eigentliche Unterschied dürfte aber im "asymmetric following" liegen. Wie auch immer: Auf beiden Plattformen gibt es keinen Unterschied zwischen privaten und öffentlichen Nachrichten.
