Bundeskanzlerin Angela Merkel will Hilfen Deutschlands für angeschlagene Euro-Staaten zunehmend an Bedingungen knüpfen: Die kriselnden Länder müssten sich nachweisbar anstrengen, sagte die CDU-Chefin auf einer Parteiveranstaltung – und kritisierte Renten- und Urlaubsregelungen in Südeuropa.
Gerade aufgrund der sehr unterschiedlichen Struktur und Wettbewerbsfähigkeit der Wirtschaften in den jeweiligen südlichen Staaten der Eurozone wird eine allgemeine Deregulierung des Arbeitsmarktes das Problem der Eurokrise nicht lösen können. In einigen Fällen kann der Verdacht nicht von der Hand gewiesen werden, dass es sich hierbei nur bedingt um eine wirtschaftliche Notwendigkeit handelt, sondern eher um eine große Umverteilungsmaßnahme von Arbeitnehmern hin zu Arbeitgebern, hin zu Eigentümern, hin zu spekulierenden Banken.
DDie Grenzen in der gegenwärtigen Finanzkrise verlaufen nicht etwa zwischen den Völkern, sondern zwischen denen, die an dieser Krise verdienen, und uns anderen, die wir dafür bezahlen.
Das deutsche Spardiktat führt in den verschuldeten Ländern der südlichen Eurozone zu neuen ökonomischen und sozialen Verwerfungen. Griechenland ist von der Entwicklung voll erfasst; letztes Jahr gingen 68.000 Betriebe bankrott – das Auftragsvolumen war dramatisch eingebrochen. Auch für dieses Jahr wird mit einer hohen Zahl von Firmenpleiten gerechnet. Dafür bieten sich deutschen Unternehmen gute Chancen, beim Ausverkauf der verbliebenen Staatsbetriebe die Filetstücke zu erwerben – zu billigsten Preisen.
