Weitreichende Änderungen im Vergleich zum Regierungsentwurf enthält die Gesetzesreform nicht mehr: Der Upload-Filter wird praktisch Realität. Schrankennutzungen für Nutzer*innen werden vereinfacht, Bildungs- und Forschungsschranken entfristet.
Philippe Aigrain, Mitgründer der NGO La Quadrature du Net und Verfasser des Anfang des Jahres in englischer Sprache erschienenen Buchs “Sharing”, versucht nun mit 14 Thesen zu Urheberrecht und digitaler Kulturpolitik diese Debatte anzustoßen.
Politiker und Juristen haben auf Einladung der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Gesetzgebung in Köln über die Herausforderungen für ein neues Urheberrecht diskutiert.
Experten lieferten sich bei einer Anhörung im Bundestag einen Schlagabtausch zu Vorstößen der Opposition, die auf eine mehr oder weniger umfangreiche Freigabe gleichsam herrenloser Werke drängen, um den Aufbau digitaler Archive zu vereinfachen.
