Wieder einmal leidet Amerika am nationalen Trauma eines sinnlosen Massakers. Dennoch dürfte der nationale Diskurs über die Interpretation des zweiten Verfassungszusatzes, der das Recht auf Waffenbesitz festschreibt, in einem Wahljahr noch ergebnisloser verlaufen als bei früheren Ereignissen dieser Art.
