New apprenticeship standards for healthcare support workers and assistant practitioners have been approved for delivery by the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS).

The standards and assessment plans for the healthcare support workers (level 2) and assistant practitioners (level 5) can be viewed and downloaded from Skills for Health's website.
