Bei der österreichischen Initiative “Kunst hat Recht” handelt es sich um so einen Fall von Astroturfing. Von Verwertungsgesellschaften mit beträchtlichen finanziellen Mitteln ausgestattet versucht eine PR-Agentur den Eindruck zu erwecken, es handle sich bei der Initiative um eine Graswurzelbewegung von Kunstschaffenden.
Am 22. Mai 2000 wurde dem Bundesministerium der Justiz der »Entwurf eines Gesetzes zur Stärkung der vertraglichen Stellung von Urhebern und ausübenden Künstlern« – mittlerweile auch bekannt als Expertenentwurf, »Professorenentwurf« oder kurz UrhGE-2000 – übergeben. Nach lang andauernden Diskussionen ist das Gesetz am 28. März 2002 im Bundesgesetzblatt veröffentlicht worden.Diese Webseite stellt Material zur Verfügung, das den Entstehungsprozeß dokumentiert.
