Measurement of Human Body Impedance in Low Frequency

(2013)

Abstract

In this paper, the internal human body impedance in the low frequency was measured in order to obtain data of the current human body impedance. Further we performed three considerations shown below. Relationships between human body impedance and Body Mass Index (BMI), comparisons of distribution of human body impedance along the current path and numerical analysis result, and change of human body impedance by the posture of the arm. Result, the human body impedance is proportional to BMI conversely, the impedance of both arms accounted for about 95 % of the total hand to hand impedance, and the impedance of the posture of arms which was bent 90 degrees was the lowest, the impedance of the posture of arms which stretched was stretched upwards was the highest.
