Abstract
This study is the first known implementation of jitter control in
an active network. Jitter control is performed by active packets
in a distributed packet by packet basis within an active network
rather than on a per flow basis as in today's passive networks.
This provides many new benefits and challenges. The concept and
results of an experimental validation of this method are presented.
