Antworten viele Individuen auf eine unverfängliche Frage - etwa, wie viele Unfälle in einem Ort passieren -, liegt der Durchschnitt ihrer Schätzungen näher an der Wahrheit als jede Antwort für sich genommen. Diese "Weisheit der vielen" hat aber einen Haken: Sie verschwindet mit dem sozialen Einfluss.
