Many of you may already be using the export facilities for publication entries that BibSonomy offers; until recently, there were options to export your BibTeX as RSS, RDF, Endnote, or one particular plain HTML format.
JUDIE steht für Java Universal Database Import and Export. Das Tool exportiert einzelne oder alle Tabellen einer JDBC Datenbank nach XML und importiert diese wieder in andere Datenbanken. Es ist als API (JAR), Kommandozeilenprogramm oder Eclipse Plugin verfügbar. Es kann für Entwickler und Administratoren nützlich sein, um Daten zwischen Datenbanken zu übertragen, besonders zum Aufsetzen von Testdatenbanken. Wegen der einfachen API kann das auch automatisiert werden, z.B. als Skript oder Ant-Task.

NLS_LANG cannot be changed by ALTER SESSION, NLS_LANGUAGE and NLS_TERRITORY can. However NLS_LANGUAGE and /or NLS_TERRITORY cannot be set as "standalone" parameters in the environment or registry on the client.
Evidently the "right" solution is, before logging into Oracle at all, setting the following environment variable:
export NLS_LANG=AMERICAN_AMERICA.UTF8
JabRef is a cross-platform BibTeX reference manager. I use it to manage my references for my research, not only because BibTeX is my preferred format, but also for the added features such as keeping track of my pdfs.
JabRef exports to a wide range of different formats, and also allows one to write custom export filters. I have written several export filters for HTML pages. The main features lie in the JavaScript to search and view the references.
