The Python Imaging Library uses a plug-in model which allows you to add your own decoders to the library, without any changes to the library itself. Such plug-ins have names like XxxImagePlugin.py, where Xxx is a unique format name (usually an abbreviation). A decoder plug-in should contain a decoder class, based on the ImageFile base class defined in the module with the same name. This class should provide an _open method, which reads the file header and sets up at least the mode and size attributes. To be able to load the file, the method must also create a list of tile descriptors. The class must be explicitly registered, via a call to the Image module.
The Django REST interface makes it easy to offer private and public APIs for existing Django models. New generic views simplify data retrieval and modification in a resource-centric architecture and provide model data in formats such as XML, JSON and YAML with very little custom code.
The Slitless Simulation package aXeSIM Introduction As part of the ST-ECF support for the spectroscopic modes of Wide Field Camera 3 (WFC3), the slitless spectroscopy group of the ST-ECF has developed a dedicated simulation package applicable to WFC3. Whilst the package was initiated for exploitation of WFC3 slitless grism modes, it is equally applicable to other slitless spectroscopy modes of HST, such as ACS and NICMOS.
Image alignment is the process of matching one image called template (let's denote it as T) with another image, I (see the above figure). There are many applications for image alignment, such as tracking objects on video, motion analysis, and many other tasks of computer vision. In 1981, Bruse D. Lucas and Takeo Kanade proposed a new technique that used image intensity gradient information to search for the best match between a template T and another image I. The proposed algorithm has been widely used in the field of computer vision for the last 20 years, and has had many modifications and extensions. One of such modifications is an algorithm proposed by Simon Baker, Frank Dellaert, and Iain Matthews. Their algorithm is much more computationally effective than the original Lucas-Kanade algorithm.

News: all of the few remaining calls to scipy have been replaced with calls to numpy. Versions 0.1.8 and above do not require scipy as a dependency. Introduction This library provides Python functions for agglomerative clustering. Its features include * generating hierarchical clusters from distance matrices * computing distance matrices from observation vectors * computing statistics on clusters * cutting linkages to generate flat clusters * and visualizing clusters with dendrograms. The interface is very similar to MATLAB's Statistics Toolbox API to make code easier to port from MATLAB to Python/Numpy. The core implementation of this library is in C for efficiency.

I got it working. You have to force it use the LiDE 60 driver by choosing 'Have Disk' / 'Select from a list' It's been working perfectly for two weeks with no instability. I can't understand why Canon doesn't have an official driver since it's obviously very similar to the LiDE 60. Thanks for this! I went to Control Panel > System > Device Manager The scanner was with a '!' under "Other devices" Properties and Driver update.... and as you guys said, force it to use the LiDE 60 driver.
A taxpayer may file an abatement application and receive an abatement for any of the following reasons: 1. Sale of the vehicle and cancellation of the registration or the trade of the subject vehicle for another; 2. Transfer of the registrant and the vehicle to another state with proof of registration in that state and cancellation of the Massachusetts registration;

GLAS (the Geoscience Laser Altimeter System) is the first laser-ranging (lidar) instrument for continuous global observations of Earth, which will make unique atmospheric observations as an important component of the ESE climate change program. GLAS is a facility instrument designed to measure ice-sheet topography and associated temporal changes, cloud and atmospheric properties.and give us information on the height and thickness of radiatively important cloud layers which is needed for accurate short term climate and weather prediction. In addition, operation of GLAS over land and water will provide along-track topography.

Delny is a Python package which can be used to make a Delaunay triangulation from a set of n-dimensional points. It is effectively a Python interface to libqhull, the C library of the Qhull program, but (currently) restricted to Delaunay triangulation. It was first developed to use in a mesh generator developed as dissertation at the University of Southampton with Hans Fangohr as supervisor. This very specific application area was the reason for the limited functionality of the libqhull wrapper, which in turn is likely the reason that there is useable code available.
Stephen of Ballwin MO (11/11/03): Based on a telemarketing call we purchased a 3 year contract for ADT monitoring and received a free security system. We were planning to move so the salesperson told us the system would be moved for free anytime during the contract. He put this in writing after the fact. We later found this company was an authorized ADT "dealership" not ADT itself. Keep in mind that ADTs name was all over the documents we signed, and we are being billed by ADT on our credit card too! Anyway, we signed a contract. No address was specified for monitoring on the contract as it was left blank when we signed (I have a copy). To make a long story short, we moved and ADT wouldn't honor the salesmen's promises. They say the "dealership" made the promises of moving our system, not ADT as they just provide monitoring. Of course, the dealership is no longer in business.
