Unsere Freunde aus der Printgemeinde führen seit einigen Wochen einen Shitstorm gegen die sogenannte „Kostenlos-Kultur“ im Internet. (Sie meinen damit das Geschäftsmodell, dass der, der eine kulturelle Leistung bezieht oder konsumiert, nicht der ist, der sie bezahlt). Ihre Wut ist so groß, als gölte es den Untergang des Abendlandes durch Schmähschriften zu verhindern. Da fragt man sich, ob es diese „Kostenlos-Kultur“ (auch „Umsonst-Kultur“) nur im Internet gibt oder schon vorher gab. Wo ist sie dann aber entstanden?

Gerne wird von hochrangigen Journalisten behauptet, Blogger würden ständig Streitereien beginnen. Es gebe doch keine zwei Seiten und jetzt sei doch endlich mal Schluss mit den Käbbeleien. Tatsächlich aber ist es anders herum. Es sind Journalisten, die immer noch nicht fassen können, dass Menschen einfach mal so unter Verwendung einer Software namens Weblog Dinge veröffentlichen.
Das Handelsblatt hat heute eine Titelgeschichte herausgebracht, in der versucht wird, gegen die drohende „Enteignung“ der Kreativen durch die Piraten (die „Enteigungspartei“ laut Handelsblatt) anzuschreiben. Denn diese setzen ihren Marsch durch die Landtage fort und kommen vielleicht bald im Bundestag an. Das ist, fast gar nicht zusammengefasst, das sehr, sehr simple Bild, welches das Handelsblatt zeichnet.
