Von führenden SPD-Politikern ist zunehmend zu hören, dass das transatlantische Handelsabkommen "faktisch tot" sei. Verhandlungsführer der EU und der USA betonten dagegen nach der 14. Runde, man könne 2016 noch zu Potte kommen.
Das Freihandelsabkommen der EU mit Kanada (Ceta) muss noch verschiedene Hürden nehmen. Winfried Kretschmann pocht darauf, dass das Abkommen nicht ohne Zustimmung der Bundesländer in Kraft treten darf.
Kehrtwende in Brüssel: Nationale Parlamente dürfen über das umstrittene Freihandelsabkommen zwischen der EU und Kanada abstimmen. Das könnte zum Aus für CETA führen. Vorher aber könnten Teile davon in Kraft treten.
