The Staffordshire Dignity in Care Awards, now in their fifth year, recognise groups and individuals who care for the most vulnerable amongst us with dignity and compassion.
There are seven awards up for grabs, including Dignity Champion, Leadership Award, Young Dignity Champion, and Informal Carer of the Year. The Awards are open to those who work in the care sector as well as informal and young carers.

The café will give carers an opportunity to meet other carers in an informal environment, over a cup of tea or coffee.
Carers who attend the monthly café can also find out about resources available to them, and identify ways they can be supported within the community.
Carers from across Staffordshire have been recognised for “going the extra mile” at the county’s Dignity in Care Awards.
Over 200 carers were joined by family members and work colleagues for the annual celebration held at Newcastle College of Performing Arts on 2nd August.
