Abstract
Following in the footsteps of the MIT Faculty Study, this report utilizes survey data to assess the status of women faculty at Stanford University. The report focuses on several key issues, including: recruitment & retention of faculty, distribution of resources and recognition, and quality of life. Findings indicate that women faculty at Stanford are significantly more likely to have concerns about campus and departmental climates. A number of recommendations for institutional action are provided in the conclusion.
