Im Mittelpunkt der hier dokumentierten HISBUS‐Erhebung, die in einer Kooperation zwischen der Hochschul‐Informations‐System GmbH und dem Multimedia Kontor Hamburg1 konzipiert worden ist, steht die Frage, wie die deutschen Studierenden den Einsatz von E‐Learning in der Hochschullehre einschätzen und welchen Einfluss die aktuelle Generation des Internet mit ihren Anwendungen – besser bekannt als „Web 2.0“ – auf die Entwicklung netzgestützter Lehr‐ und Lernformen an den Hochschulen hat.
Heute hat ein fröhlichen Medienmix die bürgerliche Öffentlichkeit ersetzt: Blogs, Indymedia, Talk, special interest, TV, Bild und FAZ. Aufgeklärte Publizität ist in den Parajournalismus der Laien und den Postjournalismus der Profis zerfallen. Web 2.0 ist das Kürzel für eine radikaldemokratische Kollaboration der Kommunikationslustigen aller Länder, der Name für jene neuen Medien, deren Inhalte von den Nutzern selbst produziert werden. Kein Zukunftsforscher hätte voraussehen können, daß der Blog, das ins Netz gestellte Tagebuch von allen und jedem, zur größten Herausforderung der Mainstream-Medien werden könnte.
Mit Organisationsidentität wird das Einheitliche, Beständige und Einzigartige einer Organisation beschrieben. Dazu gibt es im Wesentlichen drei Zugänge, die das Thema aus einer sozialpsychologischen, marketingtorientierten und systemtheoretischen Sicht
