State Net collects, normalizes and editorially enhances all bills introduced in the 50 U.S. state legislatures, the District of Columbia and the U.S. Congress, as well as all agency regulations from every state. The service also provides timely delivery of data, legislative intelligence and in-depth content and tools reporting on the actions of government institutions.
This guide provides citations for state laws that establish and govern state public document depository library systems. These are networks of libraries at which state publications are made available for public use. Most, but not all, states have such a program in place. This guide also provides links to the state law sources referenced in the citations.
The Pew Center on the States provides nonpartisan reporting and research, advocacy, and technical assistance to help states deliver better results and achieve long-term fiscal health by investing in programs that provide the strongest returns.
This geographic names data set provides a "mashup" of URLs for official city and county government web sites and city and county location data from the USGS Geographic Names Information System (GNIS). GNIS data includes incorporated places, census designated areas, unincorporated places, counties, and populated places.

Migration data for the United States are based on year-to-year address changes reported on individual income tax returns filed with the IRS. Data for some years are free, other years for sale.
NDIIPP Project. The Minnesota Historical Society is working with representatives from the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) and the California Digital Library (CDL), as well as representatives from the states of California, Illinois, Kansas, Minnesota, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Vermont who are involved in preserving and providing access to government information. The goal of working with these partners is to address common concerns in preserving state government digital information. The All Partners Meeting held in December 2008 was the first time that all of the representatives were brought together.
