The study adds to evidence that eating family meals may be a way to help improve diet quality, for teenagers and young people as well as for younger children and adults. This could be because other research suggests that meals prepared and cooked at home are likely to be nutritionally better quality than those from takeaways or fast food restaurants.
While some YouTube videos may be helpful and informative, the lack of quality control means that some are biased or inaccurate. This study showed that three quarters may contain some misleading or biased information, either in the video itself or the comments posted underneath. The lack of good quality information about the risks of screening and treatment is important, as many prostate cancer treatments have significant potential harms as well as benefits.
This study adds to our understanding of how exercise can help keep people fit and healthy as they age.
In addition to the benefits of exercise already known – such as improved heart and lung health, lower cholesterol, better mental health, and stronger bones and muscles – exercise may also protect us from ageing at a cellular level.
But there are limitations to what the study can tell us. The high dropout rate indicates that adopting an exercise regime that required 45 minutes of training, 3 times a week, isn't always easy.
Roughly two-thirds of all studies demonstrated that interventions improved frailty.
Interventions that included strength training and increased protein intake or supplementation were consistently rated highest in terms of effectiveness and ease of implementation.
Interventions that were similarly easy to implement but in the mid-range of effectiveness included tai-chi, health education, increased calories. Treatments such as hormone replacement or osteoporosis medicines were also in the mid-range of effectiveness, but harder to implement.

While the study results are theoretically interesting, they don't show any actual, physical evidence of increased weight loss or improved weight maintenance for people who followed a low-carb diet rather than a high- or moderate-carb diet.
The study has a number of limitations. The authors say that using isotopically labelled water has been shown to be "the gold standard method for [measurement of total energy expenditure] in free living people".
But as the study doesn't include evidence of different weight loss from people on the 3 diets, we can't tell whether the measured difference in energy expenditure actually results in differences in weight loss.
The new drug being tested is called AR101 and is based on peanut protein. Its dose is gradually increased to build up tolerance to peanut protein, and after this people continue to take a daily dose of AR101 to try to maintain that tolerance.
The goal of treatment is not to "cure" peanut allergies, but to make people with severe allergies less likely to experience a serious allergic reaction (anaphylaxis) if they are accidently exposed to peanuts.
Energy drinks are consumed by more than two-thirds of 10 to 17-year-olds and they often contain a number of ingredients including amino acids, sweeteners, sugars and caffeine – none of which are necessary or beneficial to their diet.
