Un grupo de universidades particulares dejó de pagar al Estado S/.400 millones por beneficios tributarios cuya vigencia concluyó a fines de 1999, informó hoy el ministro de Economía y Finanzas, Luis Miguel Castilla.
Recordó que el principio de la exoneración tributaria a la que se acogieron un grupo de universidades privadas era que esto podía redundar “en beneficio de la comunidad y fundamentalmente de la excelencia académica”.
El ministro de Economía y Finanzas, Luis Miguel Castilla, informó hoy que un grupo de universidades particulares dejaron de pagar al Estado unos 400 millones de soles por beneficios tributarios cuya vigencia concluyó a fines de 1999.
El presidente de la Asamblea Nacional de Rectores (ANR), Orlando Velásquez, dijo que debe determinarse si las universidades privadas que se acogieron a un beneficio tributario que caducó en 1999, reinvirtieron sus utilidades en mejorar la calidad educativa.
