Bernd Neumann (CDU) hat zur Eröffnung der Medienwoche in Berlin angekündigt, die Smartphone-Anwendungen von ARD und ZDF kritisch überprüfen zu wollen. Das stieß bei Axel-Springer-Chef Mathias Döpfner auf Wohlwollen.
Die Axel Springer AG hat erst kürzlich mehrere Beteiligungen an Regionalzeitungen an die Hannoveraner Verlagsgruppe Madsack verkauft. Dabei handelt es sich um die "Leipziger Volkszeitung" (50 Prozent), die "Lübecker Nachrichten" (49 Prozent), die "Kieler Nachrichten" (24,5 Prozent) sowie den Anteil an der norddeutschen Verlagsholding Hanseatische Verlags-Beteiligung (23 Prozent). Gleichzeitig übernehmen die "Lübecker Nachrichten" den Springer-Anteil an der "Ostsee-Zeitung" in Rostock (50 Prozent). Das Gesamtvolumen der Transaktionen beträgt 310 Mio. Euro.
