...In 2005, Y Combinator developed a new model of startup funding. Twice a year we invest a small amount of money (average $18k) in a large number of startups (most recently 65). The startups move to Silicon Valley for 3 months, during which we work intensively with them to get the company into the best possible shape and refine their pitch to investors. Each cycle culminates in Demo Day, when the startups present to a large audience of investors. But YC doesn't end on Demo Day. We and the YC alumni network continue to help founders for the life of their company, and beyond.

The framework is designed around two patterns: * the first is the naked objects pattern, whereby the framework automatically generates an object-oriented user interface (OOUI) for your domain objects. If required, this OOUI can then be customized. * the second is the hexagonal architecture. This means it allows the same domain model to be run with different viewers, either as a desktop app or as a webapp. Equally, you can choose which object store to use in order to persist your domain objects. The diagram below shows the hexagonal architecture as it is implemented by Apache Isis.

Those efforts can be filed directly (by specifying the start and end timestamp, a description, etc.) but they can also be recorded as you work. To achieve this Fred comes with a built-in stop watch (call Quick Bar) which is located at one of your screens borders. With this Quick Bar you can easily start a new effort, pause it when you’re doing something else, and continue it when you’re again working on your project.

Willkommen sind alle schönen, praktischen, kuriosen oder sonstwie guten Dinge von Kleinlabels, gerne aber nicht zwingend in Handarbeit gefertigt. Eher nicht willkommen: Gadgets und Gizmos aus dem Reich der Massenproduktion. Auch andere Bücher sind leider von der Teilnahme ausgeschlossen, da wir deren Inhalt nicht beurteilen können.
Das Hochladen der Bilder ist sehr einfach. Man muss sich nicht registrieren, um ein Ding auf die Seite zu bringen. Einfach den Instruktionen auf der Upload-Seite folgen! Nach dem Upload schalten wir den Eintrag so bald wie möglich frei. Wer regelmäßig Produkte hochladen möchte, mag bitte Kontakt zu uns aufnehmen. Dann können wir einen direkten Zugang einrichten.
Wichtig: Für jedes hochgeladene Foto muss ein Copyright hinterlegt werden. Sonst laufen wir in Abmahnfallen und kommen in Teufels Küche. Bitte auch angeben, wo das Produkt zu kaufen ist. Helft uns zu zeigen, wie vielfältig die Welt Marke Eigenbau ist!
