Das Europäische Parlament verabschiedet die lange diskutierte Richtlinie über die Nutzung "verwaister Werke", deren Rechteinhaber trotz sorgfältiger Suche nicht aufzufinden sind.
Bücher, Filme und andere Werke, für die sich keine Rechteinhaber mehr finden lassen, sollen in nicht-kommerziellen Projekten verfügbar gemacht werden dürfen. Auf diese Linie einigten sich EU-Rat und EU-Parlament in einem neuen Entwurf.
