Die Frage, wie viele deutschsprachige Blogs es wohl gibt, ist eine, die nicht nur mich beschäftigt. Um es vorweg zu nehmen: Niemand kann sie beantworten. Ich will mich der Beantwortung aber mal ein Stück nähern.
Als Grundlage meiner Berechnungen dient dabei die Technorati-Datenbank, die ich ja bekanntlich auch für meine deutschen blogcharts nutze. Im neuesten “State of the Live Web”-Eintrag hat David Sifry bekannt gegeben, die Technorati-Datenbank würde nun 70 Millionen Blogs kennen. Um herauszufinden, wie viele davon wohl deutschsprachig sein könnten, setze ich nun die deutschen blogcharts bzw. meine interne erweiterte Beobachtungliste ins Verhältnis zum Technorati-Ranking:
Infobib bietet Informationen und Neuigkeiten aus dem Bereich der Bibliothek- und Informationswissenschaft an. Dieser Fachblog ist für den Nutzer gut strukturiert, übersichtlich gestaltet und bietet informative Beiträge an.
LIS-Wiki bietet ein umfangreiches und ständig aktualisiertes Verzeichnis von bibliothekarischen Weblogs. Es werden sowohl deutschsprachige als auch internationale Weblogs aufgelistet. Es ist für die Blog-Recherche ein sehr hilfreiches und übersichtliches Verzeichnis.
