RDF GRAph VIsualization Tool (RDF Gravity) is a tool for visualizing directed graphs built in RDF and OWL. The tool provides a simple yet powerful visualization of RDF graph structures and the ability to filter out and visualize specific parts or fragments of RDF Graphs.
Before specialized graphics-processing chips existed, pioneers in the field of visualization used multicore supercomputers to realize data in three dimensions. Today, however, the speed at which supercomputers can process data is rapidly outstripping the speed at which they can input and output that data. Graphics-processing clusters are becoming obsolete.
The burgeoning interest in R demonstrates that there’s demand for analytics to solve real, business-critical problems in a broad spectrum of companies and roles, and that some of the incumbent analytics offerings, in particular SAS and SPSS, don’t sufficiently meet the growing need for analytics in many major companies. As high performance computing (HPC) becomes a ubiquitous part of the scientific computing landscape, the science of visualizing HPC datasets has become a critical field of its own. One of the hottest solutions can be found in commoditized high performance
R is a language and environment for statistical computing and graphics. It is a GNU project which is similar to the S language and environment which was developed at Bell Laboratories (formerly AT&T, now Lucent Technologies) by John Chambers and colleagues. R can be considered as a different implementation of S. There are some important differences, but much code written for S runs unaltered under R. R provides a wide variety of statistical (linear and nonlinear modelling, classical statistical tests, time-series analysis, classification, clustering, ...) and graphical techniques, and is highly extensible. The S language is often the vehicle of choice for research in statistical methodology, and R provides an Open Source route to participation in that activity. One of R's strengths is the ease with which well-designed publication-quality plots can be produced, including mathematical symbols and formulae where needed. Great care has been taken over the defaults for the minor design choices in graphics, but the user retains full control. R is available as Free Software under the terms of the Free Software Foundation's GNU General Public License in source code form. It compiles and runs on a wide variety of UNIX platforms and similar systems (including FreeBSD and Linux), Windows and MacOS.

We propose a joint optical flow and principal component analysis (PCA) method for motion detection. PCA is used to analyze optical flows so that major optical flows corresponding to moving objects in a local window can be better extracted. This joint approach can efficiently detect moving objects and more successfully suppress small turbulence. It is particularly useful for motion detection from outdoor videos with low quality. It can also effectively delineate moving objects in both static and dynamic background. Experimental results demonstrate that this approach outperforms other existing methods by extracting the moving objects more completely with lower false alarms.
TheBrain provides advanced Mind Mapping Software and Knowledge Management Software that uses visualization and intuitive concept maps to enable intuitive searching, browsing, and organization of information. Disparate data sources are integrated and connected into an associative knowledge network to enable recall, understanding, and communication.
