Der Beitrag skizziert zentrale Entwicklungslinien von Learning Analytics und geht auf deren Potenziale sowie damit verbundene Fragen zum Datenschutz ein. Basierend auf einer systematischen Übersichtsarbeit und Stakeholderinterviews werden Handlungsempfehlungen für die Implementation von Learning Analytics an Hochschulen vorgestellt. Der Ausblick diskutiert aktuelle Forschungsdesiderata.
